building tables

Well, our kitchen is finally coming together and looking like a kitchen. This is GOOD. I've almost freaked out a couple times from having no space to bake or cook or put dishes. We finally have a table built and just need one more for my baking area.
Feeling productive.

berry picking at Thunderbird

Today started off with some berry picking with Bryan and Jake with intentions to make a pie. Instead we made some blueberry cornbread which was just as delicious but a little less fattening. If you've never been to Thunderbird Berry Farm, you need to go. Their prices are very reasonable at $3 a pound and on some days they do a "pick three pounds and you keep the third free" deal. I will most definitely be returning :)

summer blues

It's been seriously hot lately and I've been dreaming of the beach. My flowers are a bit sad and I've been baking like crazy. I've gained a good amount of weight that I am itching to get rid of.
On a positive note...Jake and I are planning a trip for my birthday and I can't wait to road trip.
Happy Saturday.

banana pancakes

A delicious and healthy dinner tonight:
For pancakes mix 6 eggs and 3 bananas together in a blender. Cook the same as pancakes!
The almond syrup is 3/4 cup almond butter, 3/4 cup almond milk, 1 tablespoon maple syrup, 1/4 teaspoon vanilla and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon. These might be my new favorite !

Here it is friends, the most magical night I've ever experienced.
I feel completely grateful to all the people who helped make this day happen.

Thanks to Bryan Bartlett for capturing the truly lovely photos that I get to look at over and over again for the rest of my life.
Our venue was Foolish Things Coffee in downtown Tulsa. They are great people and have great coffee!
Music was provided by Hannah Helbig and Kenzie & Kendal.
Flowers were put together by myself with help from my bridesmaids.
Dinner was provided by Teri Fermo of Bohemia, Moveable Feast Caterers.
Desserts were created by Antoinette Baking Co.
Calligraphy was done by The Postman's Knock.
